The Role:
To supervise and control all necessary project services activities.
To assist the Project Manager in non-technical liaisons with Client Nigeria and other partners, handling of various general affairs in an assistance and advisory capacity.
To ensure that service activities are performed in compliance with company rules and DGEP/DEV/PJC guidelines and procedures, using best work practices.

Contracting Activities: To implement the contracting strategy for the project in compliance with Client obligations and procedures (call for tender, commercial bid analysis, contract preparation, contract management and administration until close-out).
Scheduling: To elaborate the Project Schedule and consolidate the overall progress through identification / follow-up of the critical path and analysis of main deviations incurred during the execution of the project; to review identified deviations and propose accurate measures or adapted corrections.
Working Procedures: To define working procedures with reference to the Project Execution Plan (PEP), to cover the coordination and control of project services duties.
Cost Control: To supervise constantly cost control activities, follow-up of budgetary stages and internal/external Project Costs (initial, revised, closure); to implement and optimise constructive implication from packages, alerting relevant team members if necessary.
Documentation & Reporting: To elaborate the specifications to be used by all suppliers and contractors in order to transfer the final technical project documentation to Operations at project close-out; to implement, in collaboration with the Document Controller, the EDMS; to prepare and issue weekly reports, monthly reports, ensuring appropriate content and quality of information.

Profile highly axed with contractual aspects :
Familiar with insurance issues for Marine Operations like Mutual Hold Harmless Waivers, Waivers of Subrogation etc.
Partial Handover Certificates and Final Handover Certificate.
Review of contractor Change Order Requests

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Strong contract administration skills (notably marine insurances).
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
