The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:
The Gorgon Project includes offshore production facilities consisting of two new offshore producing fields connected by transmission pipelines to Barrow Island where downstream scope includes construction camp, related utilities, logistics areas and equipment, gas treatment, LNG liquefaction, LNG storage and LNG load out facilities.

The Lead Project Engineer shall report to Site Engineering Manager and be responsible for, but not limited to:
• All project engineering aspects of maintenance and revamp/upgrade projects assigned to the Site Engineering Team including production of Scopes and SI’s for the temporary facilities and LNG Plant facility.
• Liaise with Technical Engineers, Construction Engineers, and ATSMs as required for technical support.

Responsibilities:
• All project engineering aspects of maintenance and revamp/upgrade projects assigned to the Site Engineering Team including production of Scopes and SI’s for the temporary facilities and LNG Plant facility.
• Liaise with Technical Engineers, Construction Engineers, and ATSMs as required for technical support.

Tasks:
• Review, investigate and resolve RFIs, TQs, CRs, NCRs.
• Stay current with and apply all relevant project processes and procedures.
• Stay current with and apply all relevant project / industry / Australian codes, standards and specifications.
• Liaise with Construction Engineers, ATSMs, operating centres and other stakeholders.
• Review “as built” drawings.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 15+ years of engineering experience of which 7+ are field experience in support of construction.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across a multi-functional and multi-cultural organisation.
• Experience with Australian and international codes and standards applicable to this project.
• Understanding of and commitment to leading and implementing the IIF (Incident and Injury Free) culture

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience working with an integrated (owner / contractor) team is desirable.
• Engineering management experience desirable
