The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Currently recruiting for a Lead Project Engineer. The primary function of this position is to support the Module Yard Fabrication team during the fabrication and assembly execution phase, assure adequate priority, manning and focus of relevant engineering areas for the module fabrication.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

-As the project moves from engineering phase to construction phase this role will manage the module site engineering element of the work and act as deputy for the Module Yard Representative during periods of his absence(s)
-Manage the module construction yard engineering safely to timely completion within approved budget while achieving the required quality, HSES and environment standards.
-Assist in Management of personnel assigned to the Construction team.
-Actively foster a team work approach within the onshore team and as interface with other functional teams within the Perth operations.
-Encourage the development of joint Contractor/Company team effort aimed at achieving Contract objectives.
-The Project engineer will report to the Module Yard Representative and liaise directly with the discipline design Engineers to resolve all technical issues.
-To support and assist the Module Yard Representative during EPC execution phase of the Project.
-To assist in the oversight of the EPC Contractor during fabrication, assembly, testing and delivery of the Modules at the nominated module yard.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
-Extensive experience in engineering, fabrication and construction of onshore/offshore projects.
-Minimum 20 years broad experience in engineering construction
-Minimum 10 years in a supervisory role, supervising five individuals or more
-Demonstrable Module Construction experience in provision of engineering construction & fabrication advice for onshore/offshore projects
-Worldwide experience with Contractors and Vendors in particular those involved in the construction of offshore facilities
-Team player.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Highly organized, self-motivated results orientated person.
