The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national Oil and Gas Operator which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves in conducting operations in accordance with the world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
Project Engineer works as part of a multi-discipline engineering team. Position reports to the Engineering Manager - Kazakhstan and works closely with other Project and Discipline Engineers, other teams (Operations, HSE/Regulatory, business, AIR, Construction, Fabrication, Quality), Partner Subject Matter Experts, Vendor Representatives etc. This position manages the work performed in Atyrau of a joint venture between international and local engineering contractors, ensuring deliverables are produced in a timely manner, and to the quality required for FEED and Detailed Design, ensuring compliance with project requirements, including Company specifications and standards and ROK regulatory requirements.

Scope of work include tank farm modifications, new multi well pads, produced water injection and modifications to existing meter stations.

•Reviews the completion of all technical scopes of work, specifications, drawings and data sheets necessary for the EPC bid packages.
•Reviews the completion of the commercial elements of the EPC bid packages being prepared by the Business Management Team including: Commercial T & C, bid forms, commercial input to the EPC Bid Evaluation Plan, etc.
•Assist in project execution planning. Seek out and apply best practices from other projects. Capture and share best practices and lessons learned from project planning and execution. Apply CPDEP and Capital Stewardship principles to ensure decision quality and superior project execution.
•Participates in VIP workshops, including Value Engineering, Process Simplification, Process Optimization and Design to Capacity.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BS preferred or equivalent experienceBSc (UK)

20+ years +PE preferred and may be required by region
