The Company:
Our client specialises globally in renewable energy, power, nuclear and oil & gas sectors. They specialise in offshore project management, construction and installation services. We are recruiting for their renewable division who are looking to recruit lead project engineers with offshore wind experience. This role is supporting the construction and installation services to the projects and tendering process.

The Role:
•Provide installation and construction knowledge and support to project teams and tenders
•Provide leadership and support in the development of a portfolio of installation and construction methodologies, procedures and best working practices for offshore wind structures.
•Provide leadership and support in the development of construction installation aids for large subsea foundations and wind turbines
•Assess existing construction and installation methods with a view to optimisation of operation
•Provide leadership & support in the development of a portfolio of installation and construction methodologies, procedures and best working practices for offshore wind structures. These will primarily be associated with subsea foundation installation (jackets, monopoles, and gravity based structures), substation installation (jacket and topsides) and turbine installation.
•Provide leadership & support in the development of installation and construction solutions in particularly challenging project environments in accordance with approved codes and standards, procedures and processes, schedules and budget, with a continuous concern for safety, quality, targets and stakeholder satisfaction.
•Develop best practice installation and construction methodologies in conjunction with the Engineering and Marine Operations function. This will include specific designs or methods as required by projects or required via strategic initiatives including research and development
•Ensure company QHSE management systems are implemented and complied with
•Coordinate risk and opportunity assessments and reviews
•Provide guidance to the installation and construction solutions within tenders,
•Develop installation and construction specifications and standards
•Monitor installation and construction operations offshore
•Ensure BMS (Business Management System) and engineering standards are adequate and ensure

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Typical background and experience required:
Must have:
•Engineering degree or diploma with minimum 10 years experience in offshore installation and construction, preferably in large subsea piled structures
•Knowledge or experience in heavy lifting, seabed drilling and marine vessel operations.
•Proficient English language skills – written and verbal
Nice to have:
•Experience in engineering, construction or operations associated with Offshore Wind
