The Company:
Our Client is involved in the international development and exploration of oil and natural gas, as well as managing gas and power, refining/petrochemicals and other midstream/downstream activities.

The Role:
Reports to: Project Director – Thailand

Purpose of the role:Provides technical guidance to project quality development activities. Quality products & services Activities including procurement and vendors, Assuring product / service conformance to project requirements and standards. Coordinates quality planning. Method development and defect prevention / correction action processes. Lead the QA / QC Sr. Engineers and supervise their work and guide them.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that corporate requirements of QPI policy and procedures for LSP project quality are fulfilled and demonstrated
• Planning and Implementing Quality during execution of the project through the stages of Concept Design / Engineering, Production of tender for Construction, Procurement of services / materials, construction management of project
• Responsibilities include identifying and solving operation and process problems and supports various project groups to resolve and prevent quality issues
• Reviewing / preparing requirements for the scope of QA / QC elements (like documentation, design management, qualified resource of personnel etc.) in Tender for FEED and EPC
• Evaluating / Assessing submissions of the Contractors and subcontractor project quality plans
• Participating in design contractor’s Technical design / discipline reviews of deliverables and quality system documentation, Inspection / tests with acceptance criteria / compliance to be produced by design contractor in line with the stated requirements of national, international and Project specifications
• Coordinating to ensure Inspection / testing Plan )ITP), FAT of materials / equipment procurement, including long lead items, requirement are complied with
• Participate, Review and verify audits
• Monitor and verify all non-conformities raised and assist project team in taking effective corrective actions for their closure
• Participate in Management Review Meeting of Project team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline• Post Graduate in Management related area is a plus
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent technical writing ability
• Minimum 15 years relevant experience, experience in major projects quality assurance / control including auditing activities
• Must have good interpersonal and analytical skills that extend into areas of personnel development, coaching and counseling technical Evaluation Models & Techniques Development
• Exhibit high level of technical expertise, tact, aggressiveness and discretion
• Must be driver of change with high initiative
• Position takes general strategic guidance from the head of Quality Assurance, Quality Manager and assists in both short and long range goals
