The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Main Job Responsibilities are:
40%
- Oversee the day to day performance of QC team
- Review Quality plans, ITPs and procedures submitted by Suppliers/ Contractors and ensure their QA/QC verification records are sufficiently detailed to reflect the scope of work
- Where necessary, attend kick-off meetings with Suppliers/Contractors
- Coordinate resolution of NCRs & Concession request as appropriate
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure compliance with Project specification requirements and Australian standards
- Ensure Progressive completion of applicable ITPs and ITRs of Suppliers/ Contractors
- Progressive QC review of MDR submitted by Suppliers and Offsite / Onsite Contractor in line with approved MDR Index.
- Liaise with Package Engineers, Procurement buyers, and Project managers to facilitate required activities i.e. Engineering review / expediting on Quality documents
- Participate in Audit programme for Vendor packages / Contractors as required.

Substantial experience in the inspection of critical LNG Process Plant mechanical and electrical equipment for compliance with AS 3000 and AS 60079
Substantial E&I experience in inspection and surveillance activities during procurement, construction installation and commissioning stages of
• Switch rooms and associated equipment .Major electrical/mechanical equipment power systems, hazardous area equipment , Instrumentation and control systems
• Ensure compliance with project specification requirements and Australian Standards in particular EX/Hazardous area certification requirements
• Ensure effective monitor of the vendor to meet supplier and client attendance on witness and hold points.
• Review DCR for ITR as required.
• Review MDR for Vendor packages as required

Promote safety awareness (IIF) and safe performance example among project team members and all contractor personnel. This would include participation in IIF training at site and fabrication yards.

Manage Project required QA services and verify the inspection of the project deliverables consistent with approved specifications, criticality assessments, contractual and regulatory obligations.

Promote clear, accurate, timely and consistent communication with other organizations with respect to Global Project Quality expectations and objectives.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
This role is part of the Downstream Organization and the role will require strong communication, very diverse Quality Assurance / Quality Control and project execution experience. Demonstrated leadership in Quality systems, specific discipline I & E support for construction and completions requirements are required to support the execution and planning of these activities. Candidate shall have a University degree in science or equal, specific QC skill set, 10-15 years in oil and gas with auditing to ISO 9001 qualifications, Ability to trouble shoot and do investigative analysis as required. The ability to train and mentor personnel in auditing and discipline skill set is required. Occasional travel to Site, Construction yards, Vendors and repair workshops as required
