The Role:
Role Purpose:
• Coordinate QHSE bid and tendering activities across the function
• Assess tender documents and technical specifications to identify Project QA/QC requirements
• Provide estimates for project QA/QC costs
• Provide QA responses to project bid managers
• Handover successful tenders to project Quality team and support communication/implementation of new project QA requirements through the business
• Establish monthly governance reviews for the QHSE function which assure projects are delivered efficiently, right first time
• To support the Project Quality Manager by leading improvement projects aimed at enhancing project Quality Assurance

Key activities:
• Coordination of Q, Weld Eng, HSE staff to bids as necessary
• Assessment and analysis of Invitation to Tender (ITT) specifications to identify and capture QA related requirements
• Identification of all Lifetime Quality Records (documentation) and other QA project deliverables
• Identification of required QA resource for effective project delivery of the QA aspects (personnel, processes, equipment etc.)
• Provision of estimates for all QA delivery requirements to meet tender timescales and budgets
• Development of QA estimating standards
• Development of standard QA responses to Tender enquiries
• Production of content related to the Tender document i.e. QA standard commentaries, project specific QA aspects, risks, opportunities and assumptions
• Preparation of project specific Quality Plans in accordance with ISO 10005:2005
• Liaison with internal Procurement personnel and supply chain to ensure appropriate flow down of QA requirements
• Liaison with internal Manufacturing personnel to ensure Manufacturing QA aspects of the specification are understood and captured
• Assemble and report monthly project KPIs to QHE Management
• Analysis of Lessons Learnt and deployment of preventive actions across new projects

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• A good influencer, somebody who is able to work effectively with cross functional colleagues and customers to achieve business goals
• Technically competent and able to use own initiative to provide solutions to problems
• Systematic, thorough with strong analytical skills
• The ability to assess designs, drawings and documentation to identify key QA processes and requirements
• Knowledge of ISO 9001
• Experience of developing and implementing processes and procedures
• High level of competence in MS Office products

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience within a highly regulated manufacturing or engineering industry sector with a key focus on product quality assurance
• A detailed understanding of QA standards, processes and techniques across a broad base of industrial applications
• Experience of bidding / business winning activities
• Knowledge of Quality tools and systems eg Six Sigma, Lean, EFQA etc.
• Ability to travel
