The Role:
The East Coast Marine Area (ECMA) asset consists of the producing Dolphin and Dolphin Deep Fields, the sanctioned Starfish Field and near-field exploration opportunities within current PSC’s - Blocks 6, 5a and E. In addition to the existing production, there is significant growth potential from the current asset base from incremental projects in the existing fields, near field exploration and new developments.
The post holder will be a key member of the ECMA Subsurface Team and shall be responsible for providing Reservoir Engineering support to the ongoing development & production activities and charged with the management & maintenance of subsurface models and reserves management for the ECMA asset. As an experienced Reservoir Engineer in the subsurface team, the incumbent is also expected to contribute towards mentoring of other Reservoir Engineers in the team with relatively lesser experience as well as contribute to functional excellence in petroleum engineering workflows. The key elements of the post are as follows:

ECMA represents the upstream component of the entire gas value chain, and as such is highly valuable and visible within the client. The role offers the opportunity to broaden ones experience across the mid-stream and contribute fully to realizing Asset value.
Key Accountabilities
As a Lead Reservoir Engineer of the ECMA Team you will work together with the subsurface team reporting to the Subsurface Team Leader. Your role will be to:

• Consider HSSE in every aspect of the job, including building safety into design and caring for themselves and those around them
• Use expertise to design and ensure delivery of effective reservoir engineering practices (Fluid characterization, Reservoir Surveillance, Production Forecasting, Material Balance, Reservoir Simulation, Reserves Estimation) to support all ECMA exploration, development and production activities.
• Support building and updating of reliable reservoir & network models, underpinning investment decisions and business plans.
• Support in ensuring effective management of development and depletion plans for producing fields to maximize value and meet business plan targets.
• Be responsible for construction and maintenance of integrated asset models.
• Be responsible for production monitoring & preparing monthly production forecasts.
• Ensure timely and effective data acquisition, incorporation and analysis of well/reservoir data using standard storage and analysis applications.( e.g. well test data, PVT, SCAL, PLT etc).
• Be responsible for issuing and maintaining an up to date Reservoir Management Plan and Hydrocarbon Maturation for all fields in the execution and operation phase.
• Present technical work to the client's Management, Partners and Government representatives, as required.
• Adhere to the the client's Value Assurance Framework (VAF) policy and procedures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Be an experienced and versatile Reservoir Engineer, able to demonstrate experience in variety of reservoir & fluid types, in onshore and offshore settings.
• Hold a relevant technical degree (Bachelors or Masters Degree in Petroleum Engineering discipline) and demonstrable track record of continuous training and development throughout career.
• Be experienced in reservoir modelling and simulation and a skilled user of (Petrel RE – Eclipse environment).
• Preferably possess a working knowledge of uncertainty modelling and be familiar with tools like MEPO.
• Possess good hands–on technical knowledge and experience of relevant Reservoir Engineering software (preferably Petrel/RMS, PVTi, Saphir, IPM) and workflows (PVT, SCAL, reserves, decline analyses, nodal analysis, production optimisation, forecasting and integrated modelling).
