The Role:
•Chartered Engineer with recognised Professional Body.
•Have at least 15+ years continuous experience in Rotating Equipment in oil & gas offshore and onshore projects and facilities, with the last 5 years experience as a Lead Engineer in key design role.
•Extensive experience in a front line Rotating Equipment engineering role in projects and/or operations in oil & gas petrochemical facilities.
•Expert knowledge of design, selection and application of Rotating Equipment including Gas Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors, Dry Gas Seals and Systems, Centrifugal Pumps, Steam Turbines, and Gearboxes in oil and gas offshore and onshore projects and facilities.
•Good working knowledge in Operations and Maintenance of Rotating Equipment within the hydrocarbon gas processing and LNG industry.
•Good working knowledge of Reliability & Availability Improvement Program for Rotating Equipment that can be included in New Rotating Equipment Purchases.
•Experienced with major project cycle: Appraise – Select – Define – Execute – Operate.
•Practical experience of oil & gas plant commissioning, start-up and operation.
•Knowledge and experience of the key engineering contractors and suppliers of Rotating Equipment.
•Have expert knowledge of international codes & standards, and regulations associated with Rotating Equipment.
•Demonstrate the ability and has experience of evaluating requests for deviations or exemptions to the established specifications and standards.
•Proven experience in leading Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations on problems developed during FAT.
•Proven experience to provide technical input to risk assessments, Management of Change reviews, and Project reviews.
•Have expert knowledge for technical risk management techniques such as HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA and API 14J Studies.
•Excellent organizational, planning, written and oral communication skills.
•Written and oral fluency in English.
•Willing to work 3 weeks in Papua during Construction, Commissioning and Start-up.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•University Graduate with S1 or Bachelor degree in Engineering
•A minimum of 15 years experience of project management and construction, in practical LNG Plant Facilities.
•Proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office software including experience in Microsoft Project
•English language proficiency sufficient to support reporting requirements.
•Pre-FEED, FEED, Engineering, procurement. and Construction phases of Projects in the oil & gas industry

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Master degree in Project Management (MPM) or Business Administration (MBA)
•Certificate of Project. Management Professional (PMP) from PMI
•Proven project experience or a combination of procurement, design and plant experience.
•Proper understanding of Capital Value Process is an asset
•Experience in working on LNG is a plus
•The ability to represent an owner organization in a Contractor's Design Office.
•The ability to represent an owner organization in a Module Fabrication Shop
