The Company:
Our Client is a global Energy Leader with a strong commitment to Honest and Ethical Business Practices within the Oil and Gas Industry. Our Client operates as an independent energy company. It has four segments: Oil and Gas, Syncrude, Energy Marketing, and Chemicals. The Oil and Gas segment explores, develops, and produces crude oil, natural gas, and related products.

The Role:
•Manage the Cost Delivery team to meet all Corporate and Project team requirements
•Provide leadership and guidance to the Project Manager/s and Cost Team/s to ensure the delivery of all cost estimating, cost control, monitoring & reporting matters.
•Develop / Construct / Maintain / all cost documentation for associated scopes
•Liaise and coordinate all Stakeholders and Key vendors in connection with cost management to allow effective the delivery of project requirements
•Key focal point for all Project SAP queries.
•Co-ordinate the Provision of training and leadership to SAP group and its customers.
•Safety – Conducts all activities in a safe and effective manner and raises safety and environmental issues immediately and in line with corporate policy.
•Leadership – Undertakes the role in line with corporate policy and demonstrates behaviours in line with company values at all times. Readily accepts accountability
•Technical – Provides support to Cost Team to Develop and maintain Project Builder WBS/CBS structures.
•Responsible for raising appropriate Requsition’s / Commitment’s in SAP and ensuring all Projects have capacity to perform the function.
•Responsible for the control of all Project commitments from SAP entries to Budget approval
•Responsible for coordinating Project Invoice workflow from Accounts Payable to Budget approval
•Responsible for coordinating and maintaining Project Work Orders in line with Projects Construction Schedule
•Assist with the submission of Project monthly VOWD submissions to Finance
•Collaborate with others in the team and look for opportunities to leverage their network and work with others to develop safe, practical and effective solutions
•Continuously develops ways of working by seeking feedback from colleagues and key stakeholders. Complies with the company project management procedures, effectively utilises knowledge databases and actively participates in project reviews
•Looks for opportunities to develop technical and personal skills both by formal learning and work experience. Coaching team where appropriate and demonstrate a personal commitment to lifelong learning

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Detailed working knowledge and abilities in SAP
•Relevant degree or equivalent experience
•Extensive experience in the North Sea Oil & Gas Industry
•Experience in both Topsides and Subsea preferred
•Experience using cost reporting systems
•Experience on the commercial workings of an Operator
