The Company:
Our client is a Global Engineering & Construction (E&C) Group inside which you’ll find an incredible range of expertise and opportunity.
They offer their clients a complete range of skills and services so that they can work with their teams right from the earliest ‘ideas’ stage of their planned investments, through the study or concept selection phase, the front-end design, the EPC phase, and on into the commissioning and start-up phase.

The Role:
•Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with CORE Values: Integrity,
•Accountability, High Performance, Valuing People, and Teamwork
•Ensure all work to be carried out with a positive attitude towards safety, both in design and in the office environment
•Undertake Lead Engineer Role of major FEED/EPC projects
•Provide technical support to the Chief Civil Engineer and Chief Consultant Civil Engineer
•Conduct technical audits on project at the direction of the Chief Civil Engineer
•Support development of operational alerts and lessons learnt, plus conduct performance reviews and follow-up with technical discipline staff
•Keep up to date with latest industry practices, standards and product development and disseminate to group
•Lead projects and assigned group of Civil and Structural Engineers/Designers when required.
•Conduct technical audits on projects and support the maintenance of Technical Work Practices,
•Engineering Standards, ASK TED and Technical Consistency Modules
•Advise Chief Civil Engineer on technical capability of staff as required
•Organise and carry out Technical discipline meetings and presentations on Civil Engineering (e.g. present training modules to the group)
•Conduct Performance Reviews of the Civil Engineers/Designers

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Degree qualified in a related technical field
•Preferably a Chartered Engineer of one of the recognized professional bodies
•Ability to demonstrate a wealth of relevant experience in petrochemical or similar related industry
•Have a sound technical background in civil engineering
•Ability to lead, inspire and motivate the project team of highly professional engineers and designers
•Have a strong character and self-motivated individual with good communication skills
