The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. The Role:
Responsible for the development of the IMR activities of the subsea assets, in liaison with the MIEC contractor where necessary.
Responsible for identifying opportunities during the project phase which will result in optimized operating costs or increased production and ensuring that these are fully exploited.
Responsible for specifying, negotiating and recommending support contracts for relevant subsea operations activities and manage contracts effectively ensuring quality and efficient services are supplied within agreed budgets (Life of field contract with SPS and IMR vessel contract.
Responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with the SPS Team and Head Office specialists in subsea/pipeline/survey operations activities.
Responsible for ensuring SPS and PL&U contractors implement a reliability / production assurance program in their design and fabrication activities.
Maintains awareness of pipeline technology/R&D/pipelines legislation and codes of practice, and risk and reliability techniques.
Responsible for conducting EPRS studies and recommending an EPRS strategy and spares requirement.
Responsible for managing project spares and replacement.
Accountable and responsible for providing subsea engineering expertise to the Company for the inspection, repair and maintenance of subsea equipment structures.
Accountable and responsible for ensuring requirements integrated in Company contracts
Accountable and responsible for preparing ROV operations:
Scope, plan and execute Vessel-based ROV inspection of subsea pipelines and assets during routine and ad-hoc activities. liaise with other operations teams with regard to these activities.
Scope, plan and execute ROV tooling and intervention in support of drilling/exploration/project operations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in a technical discipline.
Technical experience in the offshore oil industry, including working in a project environment.
Knowledge and experience of SPS IMR and deepwater pipeline/subsea operations and related inspection procedures.
Familiar with the management and control of SPS IMR and deepwater subsea/pipeline inspection-related contracts.
Able to work on offshore vessels and in possession of a valid BOSIET certificate.
