The Role:

These will include, but not be limited to,
•To provide engineering and technical assistance within the Project/Operations department and also to provide support to the Tendering, Business Development and Quality departments as and when required.
•Main Point of contact for the client and interfacing contractors at the pre-construction phase and throughout the life of the installation works, ensuring that all technical interface issues are raised and dealt with.
•Maintaining adequate liaison with the Barge/Vessel Operations Manager to ensure that all relevant vessel/project technical interfaces are addressed.
•Ensuring all codes and standards are identified as required for the projects are available at the correct revision.
•Ensuring that the contractual works are conducted in accordance with the approval procedures and installation methods and in accordance with the Company's Safety Health and Environmental policies and project Safety Plan
•Witnessing/inspecting pre-rigging, load outs, sea fastening and acknowledging the receipt of materials to be installed offshore.
•To provide leadership and Supervision to Engineering Teams.
•Identify and supervise all technical resources needed to complete the task.
•Assign and co-ordinate scopes of work and review completed work.
•Comply with the Company Safety Policy and work in accordance with its requirements.

General Duties

• It is mandatory that the incumbent is familiar with and works in compliance with requirements set by Companies Policies and Procedures with regard to Health, Safety and Environment. The incumbent must report any accidents, incidents, near misses, actual or potential problems with products, services or systems to the QHSE Manager.
• The incumbent must work in conformity with relevant ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management).
• The employee has responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 to follow all Company procedures, guidelines, control measures and permit conditions and to know what to do in an emergency. The incumbent is also responsible for the health and safety of subordinates (if any) and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.
• The incumbent must adopt a co-operative attitude towards being assigned alternative or additional duties to that which they are primarily employed.
• Generation of Diving Procedures related to offshore works within IRM & Subsea Construction.
• Capable of running a “Shift” on-board DSV, including generation of dive plans, engineering reports and client interfacing.
• Ability to generate and implement mobilisation plans, lift plans and deck plans.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Experience – preferably in Subsea, Oil & Gas
•Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
•Previous subsea IRM or construction experience in a similar Technical or Project Engineering roles.
