The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our Client is looking for a Lead Technical Integrity Engineer to join their team in Perth.
The function of this position is to Coordinate with HSE, Quality and other Project Groups to provide assurance to the project that for the design life of the project, the foreseeable risk of failure that would endanger the safety of personnel, cause loss to the environment or loss to the value of the asset is ALARP.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
• Understand and strive to ensure all HSE objectives are achieved.
• Ensure all technical integrity activities minimize the impact on the environment in line with project requirements
• Ensure specific technical integrity risks are identified, understood and addressed effectively.
• Develop a technical integrity assurance plan (by year) in accordance with project requirements and implement in liaison with HSE and Quality Groups.
• In liaison with HSE and Quality Groups participate in audits/reviews of Package Teams in accordance with Technical integrity plan.
• Assist Package teams, where requested, with review of EPC contractor plans and procedures to ensure that technical integrity is adequately addressed and meets requirements.
• Participate in audits/reviews of EPC contractor systems and procedures where requested by Package Teams.
• Act as focal point for receipt and distribution of Technical Deviations requiring Technical Authority approval in Perth.
• Maintain a consolidated listing of technical integrity critical documentation.
• Assist in the development of Business Management Systems relating to technical integrity.
• Prepare reports and presentations on matters relating to technical integrity as required.
• Interface with reservoir group, drilling and completions, offshore packages, and onshore packages as required.
• Liaise closely with HSE group with respect to audit/review of safety and environmental critical elements, performance standards and related activities.
• Liaise closely with Quality group with respect to audit/review of Package Verification Check Plans, Independent Verification Body scope of work including Written Scheme of Verification
• Liaise closely with Operations group to ensure seamless transition between management of technical integrity during the project phase to management of asset integrity in the operations phase.
• Work collaboratively within the organisation to achieve alignment on strategies and documentation required to achieve objectives.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The following Qualifications and Experience are a requirement of this position:

• Tertiary Engineering Degree
• Min 10yrs experience in Offshore and/or Onshore Oil & Gas Facilities engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning with a good understanding of project management systems, change management, technical deviations, safety critical systems, performance standards, validation schemes and assurance.
• High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, precommissioning, installation and offshore hookup and commissioning of Offshore and/or Onshore Facilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent written skills
• Ability to work with different disciplines and cultures
