The Company:
Our Client is a Major operator in the International Oil & Gas Market.

The Role:
Apply project management best practices to develop and monitor project schedules and control costs, evaluate performance risk and develop risk handling strategies to improve planning and control during execution for KEP1. Work across a project team, including PM, functional leads, operations, product teams, procurement, or supply chain to collect, interpret, and analyse results of integrated cost, schedule, or risk models.

Use Earned Valued Management techniques in the analysis of the performance of the various project contractors.
Prepare briefings and reports to communicate schedule status, project risk, and performance to senior members of the Project Management Team, Partners and Stakeholders.
Support the Planning Section Head and the Cost Section Head in preparing the annual budget and forecasting baselines.
Accumulate and access historical data, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
Utilise the project management, control and reporting systems to be established for reporting and analysis of project performance.

Ensure the analytical and decision support models are developed and are of sufficient complexity to accurately measure the project performance indicators.

Monitor project performance indicators and perform variance analyses.
Identify, track, report and resolve any performance issues in a timely manner
Support the project controls team in developing the required processes and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective working of the team.

Conduct analysis of contract performance to projected financial outcomes & contract terms, evaluate other performance indicators and prepare reports to management on findings & recommendations;

Prepare reports to document analytical strategies & present results of analyses; use reporting graphics & statistical application software.

Generate planning and scheduling deliverables including preparation of schedules, tracking of actual work against schedules, performing variance analysis studies, and updating of reports.

Facilitate consistency in data collection, definitions, analyses, & reporting
Develop integrated master schedules, provide advice on schedule issues, develop and analyse critical paths, facilitate identification and sequencing of activities and milestones, lead schedule analysis, including schedule health, start or finish dates, percent complete, or remaining duration, and identify schedule risks. Interpret contractually required input to establish network logic and estimated durations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• University degree in engineering, with subsequent working experience in production and project controls/ technical/business analysis or equivalent.
• Highly skilled in MS Office products as the role relies on complex spreadsheets and creating presentations.
• Experience on Pro Space / Primavera / MS Project and @Risk an advantage.
• Ability to manage and deliver complex numerical analytical models
• Track record presenting to management on project deliverables
• Experience in analysis of project performance etc.
• Project controls / project services experience or equivalent
• Understanding of oil and gas capital projects including delivery of project services, scheduling, cost estimating and progress measurement.
• Understanding of oil and gas HSSE and projects
• Earned Value Management (EMV)
• High level of HSSE orientation.
• Communication skills
• Highly numerate and analytical approach
• Ability to work quickly and accurately
• Ability to reliably mode
