The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Safety and Risk Engineer to support a major LNG project. You will develop and implement Process Safety and Risk Management plans and activities as well as coordinate specialist risk management studies, HES technical design reviews, coordination of HAZID studies, ALARP workshops, and other general company OE Riskman2 process needs.

The successful candidate would apply their level of extensive experience within this area and mentor team members to achieve set focus tasks.
Other duties as per the HES advisor however the expectation is to continually draw on additional level of experience and create efficiencies at work.
Works closely with the HSE Managers to ensure all HSE risks associated with the program are understood and appropriate systems, procedures, training and resources are in place to manage the risks Assesses HSE aspects of Operations and associated tenders Reviews and approves HSE Plans / Bridging Documents Establishes appropriate procedures to ensure operations are undertaken in accordance with the projects overall HSE Management System.
Ensures all contractors work in a consistent manner with the projects HSE MS and approved Bridging Documents / HSE Plans HSEMS.
Coordinates HSE oversight during operations through consultation with HSE Rep.
Provides advice, support and guidance on HSE matters to operations personnel.
Ensures all HSE reporting is of good quality and is issued on time.
Reviews Safety Performances and develops with the contractors programs to ensure continuous improvement Ensures strict compliance with the development project Safety requirements.
Ensures the adequate training of personnel operating on site.
Investigates all Safety incidents/accidents and issues prompt reports.
Assists in the establishment and maintaining of appropriate emergency response resources in accordance with the projects ERC Acts as mentor for the HSE personnel Enhances processes and documentation development to strengthen Managing Safe Work requirements and ensure interfaces between the company Business Unit requirements and Major Capital Projects (MCP) are effectively delivered within owners teams and through Contractor Management processes.
Actively supports MOC requirements, Incident Investigation reports, field audits & inspections (Owner and contractor compliance)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
10+ years Oil & Gas industry Desired Expertise Onshore, familiar and motivated with drilling activities in various location. Bachelor, this can be substituted by relevant operational experience Demonstrated ability to manage a multicultural team is required.
