The Role:
An opportunity for an experienced, senior level Well Integrity Engineer to take on a lead role with an E&P Major based in Trinidad & Tobago. In brief, the successful candidate will provide engineering and technical expertise to the management of well integrity for the existing and new land, platform and subsea wells. Provide well servicing and integrity expertise, including preparation for well works and wellsite supervision.

Reporting directly to the Well Integrity Supervisor and the Completions Team Leader the team will consist of well and completions engineers, production technologists, geoscientists, production engineers and frontline offshore & onshore production operations supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Completion Team Leader in all aspects of HSE.
* Contribute to delivery of the Business Plan by ensuring that the requirements of the wells delivery process are honoured with full compliance to local regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of all installed wellhead, xmas tree and completions equipment.
* Update records as equipment is tested, inspected, serviced, repaired or renewed.
* Train, mentor and coach production operations staff as required.
* Monitor the effective implementation of the established testing, preventative maintenance and servicing schedules.
* Periodically review the appropriateness of inspection, maintenance and testing procedures.
* Review risk-based appropriateness of equipment installed on wellhead outlets against well construction and operational standards.
* Prepare for and supervise well integrity operations to meet programmed data acquisition objectives.
* Assess and audit the capabilities of the service contractors engaged for well integrity, maintenance and repair activities.
* Ensure that repairs and renewals are carried out to the correct specifications and manufacturer recommendations.
* Ensure that owned and rented well service equipment and tool inventory is appropriate and suitably maintained.
* Engage with local regulatory agencies to ensure alignment and compliance with all requirements.
* Responsible for entering well data into the data management system
* Management of well maintenance and service contractors will be a key responsibility.


Key Skills, Experience and Attributes
* Degree qualification
* Substantial experience in well maintenance, testing, inspection, service work in land, platform and subsea wells (in office and in field supervisory roles).
* Strong knowledge of well integrity management systems and field implementation practices.
* Strong detailed knowledge of well service wellhead and xmas tree assemblies & specifications and associated tools.
* Effective professional relations with service companies at all levels, in both planning and execution activities.
* Good knowledge of the E&P Value Chain and of cross-disciplinary interactions with Well Engineering.
*Experience of working in different cultures, physical locations and organisational structures (operated, JV, non-operated etc).
* Thorough knowledge of hydrocarbon gas handling equipment and procedures (Well integrity related).
* Understanding of fluid pumping equipment and procedures.
* Thorough understanding of, and ability to perform calculations on gas and fluid interactions in a wellbore (i.e. hydrostatics, u-tubing, density calculations, etc.)
* Offshore and onshore operational experience.
* Well Control Certificate required (i.e. IWCF, Wellcap)
* Offshore survival training required (i.e. TBOSIET)
* Cost accounting and reporting skills
* Computer literacy ability to generate and populate various computer-based reports and documents
* Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
* A proven team player who is enthusiastic and appreciative of others opinions
* Good understanding of the service contractor markets, eg availability, rates, specifications, etc.
