Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
This role is a project engineer or project planner for the delivery of the departments software and calibration deliverables for each program gateway.
The role involves planning the releases working to ensure compatibility with interacting modules. Planning the application of the in house hybrid controller for allocated projects including coordination of :Calibration of the hybrid controller meeting vehicle attribute targets including emissions, driveability, and fuel economy, Software / calibration test and development activities, Generate and maintain test and development plans and status reports, Programme reporting & issue management, Development of relationships across teams (engine/transmission/power supply/chassis) to ensure aligned delivery.

2) Experience of planning complex project delivery across multiple teams
3) Experience of reporting project status to senior management and dealing with cross functional issues
Experience Required: "Electronic control system (software and/or calibration) development and delivery knowledge Full UK driving license (or equivalent to which enables UK driving) Project Management Experience. Experience of reporting project status to senior management and dealing with cross functional issues"
Experience Preferred: "Automatic control systems Prototype vehicle development Automotive hybrid project delivery Knowledge of Project Management systems such as GPDS, GTDS, eFDVS is desirable. ROSPA or IMA driver training courses would be beneficial but not essential Prior OEM Driver training would be beneficial but not essential "
