The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experienced engineering professionals.

The Role:
The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager is a vital role in the continued success of Our Client for enhancing the capabilities of their employees and driving employee engagement. The L&D Manager will plays a key part in designing, developing and supporting the implementation of a shared L&D strategy across the business, incorporating employee engagement, career development, talent management and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
•Develop, maintain and support the implementation of the our Clients learning and development strategy.
•Drive the training needs analysis for the business to determine the training plan on an annual basis.
•Work with the senior management team to develop and introduce a robust attraction and retention strategy.
•Develop and implement regular Employee opinion surveys, including analysis of results and development of subsequent action plans.
•Manage the creation and implementation of succession planning, talent management and career development processes, and supporting any associated initiatives.
•Develop and roll out training policies and plans.
•Work with external partners when appropriate to provide development solutions training providers to develop and deliver appropriate programmes.
•Develop and deliver internal training programmes, as required.
•Provide training to meet legal requirements and corporate standards
•Develop and maintain educational and business partnerships

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•A proven and successful background in developing and implementing L&D strategy to a complex organisation
•Experience of developing and implementing engagement activities
•Excellent presentation, influencing and coaching skills
•Highly organised with analytical skills
•Proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders across a diverse business
•CIPD qualified preferred.
