The Company:
Our Client is a leading Operator in the Oil and Gas sector Globally.

The Role:
Diagnose and lead the delivery of the various technical and non technical functional curriculum’s globally;
Continually improve the functional competency framework’s working with the business subject matter experts across a range of technical and non technical functions;
Manage external training providers to ensure high quality learning solutions are designed and delivered;
Partner with HR Business Partners to understand and define business needs and plan L&D interventions whilst balancing local and global priorities, ensuring alignment and scalability;
Manage a number of learning projects across a wide range of functional and geographical activities;
Partner with HR Business Partners and Client Group Leaders to demonstrate measurable improvements in organisational effectiveness resulting from learning interventions;
Drive excellence in learning practice as a subject matter expert ensuring Group L&D is leading innovation in learning that makes a tangible difference to the business;
Forecast and manage budget allocated to learning activities;
Ensure that safe practices are adhered to at all times.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in diagnosing and designing high quality learning for professional and highly technical businesses;
Experience of managing a wide range of stakeholders globally;
Experience of working with Sector Skills Councils, Occupational Standard Setting Bodies or Qualification Authorities;
Implementation of Corporate Universities or Academies;
Capability Assessment, Assurance and Development experience;
Experience of developing competency frameworks within professional and technical occupations
Experience of implementing competency verification processes and approaches in an offshore and remote onshore environment;
Experience of developing capability development systems aligned to Learning Management Systems;
Experience of developing remote on-line learning communities;
Experience of facilitating workshops to develop capability statements.

Knowledge, skills and Attributes required:
Strong consultative skills supported by extensive practical knowledge of learning

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Vocational Assessment Qualifications (A1, V1 or D32, D33 and D34) or equivalent;
Chartered Member of the CIPD or Equivalent;
Educated to bachelor / first degree or equivalent in a relevant subject;
