The Role:
• Review Legal documents, contracts and agreements and provide legal opinion.
• Provide assurance that compliance issues relating to laws, licenses, permits, and contractual obligations are identifies and addressed and that the work is being progressed to mitigate / rectify issues.
• Develop the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical or improper conduct. Manage day-to-day operation of the Program.
• Respond to alleged violations of official rules, regulations, laws, licenses, permits and contractual obligations by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures. Develop/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
• Act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
• Monitor and, as necessary, coordinate compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends. Ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations to management as appropriate and/or required.
• Monitor export subsidy collection progress
• Be representative for signatory on official documents/applications
• Prepare Sales Agreement for new customers
• Obtain and renew various licenses/permits from IEAT, department of industrial factory, etc.
• Be the company attorney to register the securities to the bank if required
• Coordinate BOI activities
• Look after contract registration
• Provide assistance in making insurance claims or business claims
• Liaise with government units for government affairs
• Maintain shareholder register and issue share certificates
• Provide assistance in preparing the resolutions of BOD and shareholders

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• 5-8 year experience in petrochemical industry with knowledge of BOI process, excise and legal consultancy issues
• Proficiency in English communication and computer skills, MS Office
• Other knowledge/skills i.e. litigate license, Membership of The Thai BAR
• Have good relationships with government units
• Able to work outside the company and travel to Rayong from time to time
