The Company:
One of the ASEAN region oilrig service provider based in KL with offshore Slickline operations in East Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo.

The Role:
1. Drafting, reviewing and providing legal input on all contracts, agreements and legal documents arising from the day to day business of the Group such as agency agreements, distributorship agreements, customer contracts, joint venture/shareholders agreements, MOUs, non-disclosure agreements and the like.
2. Reviewing and providing legal input on all tenders arising from the Group’s business and attending tender briefings, committee meetings and discussions.
3. Reviewing and providing legal input on other documents and matters affecting the Group such as banking facilities, bank guarantee, performance guarantee, admin documents, industrial relations and insurance policies.
4. Assisting in the drafting and/or vetting of relevant policies, codes, procedures and guidelines of the Group.
5. Reviewing and advising on all intellectual property matters of the Group.
6. Liaising with external solicitors on legal matters of the Group where required.
7. Managing a systematic document storage and filing system to ensure confidentiality and safe custody of the Group’s legal documents and easy retrieval.
8. Other duties as assigned from time to time by the Senior General Manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Principle duties: (1) Legal advisory including drafting, reviewing agreements and tenders.
(2) To involved in corporate exercise and due deligence

Minimum education required: LLB (Hons)
Special requirements: Called to bar, corporate, commercial and litigation exposure
Age: Late 20’s to mid 30’s
