The Role:
The Company:
The Life Cycle Well Design Engineer (LCWE) prepares the conceptual and detailed well design programming for and in close collaboration with the Well Delivery Rig Team. The LCWE will then continue to support the Well Delivery Rig Team for the execution phase of the well. This is to ensure that consistent and cost-effective reservoir development plans are developed and implemented, for Deepwater, HPHT and conventionally pressured prospects, and that wells are maintained over their full life cycle in an economically effective way. The LCWE provides the foregoing without compromising health, safety and environmental standards and in accordance with Statutory Regulations and Company Policies.

The Role:
The LCWE is responsible for all activities delegated to him/her in support of the Well Delivery Rig Team

Responsibilities will include:
• Work planning, risk identification and risk mitigation
• Contingency Management
• Delivery of optimum well design concepts and programmes in a timely manner
• HSE – leading by example

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Role criteria can vary from site to site however applicants should be able to demonstrate:
• A Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• 2-5+ years experience in a like for like role
• Excellent communication skills, including some evidence of successful multidisciplinary & multicultural team management
