An opportunity to produce tangible and proven results in relation to the Nkossa II Life Extension Project.

The Role:
As Life Extension Work (LEW) Manager, you will be responsible for the proper execution of Life Extension work for Nkossa II in accordance with contractual requirements.
Working with direction from the Asset Manager and in co-operation with the Technical Superintendent, you will support management's Life Extension Interface towards the client.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain high level of awareness regarding daily operating conditions.
- Define scopes and identify best solution for LEW items.
- Develop comprehensive and versatile Project Execution plan including detailed schedule.
- Project manage execution of LEW items through all phases with an emphasis on safety, cost efficiency and adherence to PEP.
- Engage subcontractors and vendors ensuring that their suitability and competancy meets requirements.
- Monitor/control vendors and subcontractors.
- Strictly control project costs anticipating change relative to scope creep, change or outside influence.
- Ensure QMHSE aspects are safeguarded eg Quality of subcontractors and vendors, safety during work execution, class aspects etc.
- Protect guarantee and warranty aspects.
- Ensure proper commissioning of equipment and project close out, on cooperation with operational staff.
- Co-ordinate LEW activity with planned/unplanned maintenance and operations activity.
- Provide monthly report to management on LEW status, including any differences between planned versus actual progress and cost. Ensure monthly LEW invoicing is executed.
- Absorb and maintain current knowledge of the Technical Superindendants activities in order to fulfill their role if required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering background.
Operations experience within the Oil and Gas industry ideally as a Superintendent.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Offshore holding certificate
