The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
An opportunity is available for a Lifting and Manual Handling Specialist to join the project team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies to lift and move maintainable equipment on the project Facility
• Develop listings of required lifting and manual handling devices
• Arrange for the procurement of devices
• Review project manual handling studies and develop lifting and handling plans from these studies
• Develop a system to monitor and track the inspection compliance of lifting and handling equipment
• Liaise with Facilities Engineering to ensure compliance to statutory regulations
• Develop training materials to ensure site based persons are competent to lift and handle equipment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ Years in a hands on rigging or Lifting role

Preferred Skills:

• Being familiar with working in an Oil & Gas environment is advantageous
• Having a background in developing lifting and handling strategies in a field environment is preferred.
• Good communication skills, ability to influence across teams to coordinate deliverables.
• Ability to use Microsoft office programs to develop documents

Certification:

Advanced Rigging (SA) Qualification Basic Scaffolding or above Dogging Crane Drivers Ticket

Additional Comments: Position is for 8 months, based in Perth, working 8 hours per day.
