The Role:
Business and local conditions are challenging in Atyrau and require a flexible mindset and attitude towards working in the country:

Technical accountabilities:
1. Develop inspection strategies and plans for all lifting equipment
2. Responsible for execution of all lifting equipment inspections.
3. Analyses and interprets all inspection data for their area
4. Maintain and execute accurate inspection schedules and records. Act as curator of inspection history providing transparent access to all.
5. Supervise lifting equipment inspection contract services
6. Assist in structured development of nationals to fulfill line positions
7. Contributes to inspection studies and evaluations where required
8. Developing and maintaining the Technical Integrity of Lifting Equipment installed including corresponding technical data integrity.

General accountabilities:
9. Ensuring that advice given on inspection, maintenance, application, procurement, modification, design, construction and contract of lifting equipment is fit for purpose and customer focused.
10. Contribute to technical evaluation of contractors in the areas: inspection, engineering, maintenance and construction. Contract holder of lifting equipment inspection contracts.
11. To lead, prepare and contribute to internal and external technical audits and studies.
12. To being up-to-date on the status of all inspections, e.g. backlogs, activities, implementation of advices, quality assurance of these and the risk associated.
13. Accountable for the correctness and retrievability of the inspection data, up-to-date databases and reporting of inspection KPI’s.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a relevant subject
Extensive relevant experience in the oil and gas inspection industry
Excellent communications skills and service provision mentality
Leadership, coaching, facilitation and teamwork skills
Change management, negotiation skills and diplomacy
Extensive knowledge of materials degradation phenomena, material properties, NDT, design codes and manufacturing processes.
Data-Doc management
Regulatory codes and requirements.
