The Role:
The supervisor for lifting/rigging/ exceptional transport works acts as clients representative to follow up, to monitor, to coordinate the lifting works of contractors and to facilitate that works are completed according client requirements in aspect of safety, technical conformity, quality and schedule.

Closely monitor and eventually prepare all lifting/transport works and ensure that these works will be executed according to existing safety requirements, procedures, specifications, step plans, quality rules and in strict accordance to the lifting plans.
• Verify and approve lifting plans
• Ensure that all works are executed in strict accordance with the requirements specified on the work-permits, and do regular and frequent audits to verify
• Eventually follow-up, control and sign off timesheets and presence sheets
• When required to deviate from, or modify lifting plans, to bring together all people concerned, and to discuss and correct/modify all necessary documentation
• Coordinate, assist and follow-up all by TRA contracted lifting/rigging contractors.
• Evaluate and coordinate all logistical aspects of lifting/rigging: transport works
• Regular and frequent audits of lifting works, eventually correct, reporting to the hierarchical line, formulate proposals for improvement
• Train and assist other discipline supervisors in lifting aspects, in order to give them some basic knowledge on rigging/lifting works
• Act as assistance/replacement for the specialized lifting engineer

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum A2 technical studies or equal by experience.
• + / -> 10 years
Experience in heavy lifting and exceptional transport
• Experience in working within refining, petrol and/or chemical industrial environment
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of rigging/lifting works
• Experience in working in construction team of contractors our of clients.
• Experience in coordination, and scheduling of works.
• In possession of safety passport indicating that person has successfully followed safety training for Operational Supervisors.
• (SCC in English language or VOL-VCA in Dutch language)
• Dutch and English: very good
