The Role:
The Scope of The Job

The Live Events Manager, and their team, will define and lead live event projects, and in doing so will gather input and buy in from the major stakeholders, including the Bentley Board, and define & share responsibility for individuals as part of a flexible cross functional team including central and regional functions.
The role is responsible for delivering efficiencies from delivering multiple activities from a single event platform, and ensuring the Bentley Board Strategy including tone of voice and brand language are consistent across all activity.
• Responsible for the strategic development and delivery of the Bentley Live Events Programme including, but not exclusively:
• New production launches in conjunction with PR/Media activity.
• Corporate events including Dealer conferences.
• Integration of the Bentley Driving Programme into the brand Experience offer.
• Centrally manage events.
• Responsible for the management of Bentley Live Events Programme to ensure planning, implementation and delivery of successful corporate and customer events.
• Set and lead high quality operational standards of the direct and contracted team commensurate with the customer expectations of a premium brand such as Bentley.


• Ideally graduate calibre with marketing degree or equivalent and/or appropriate marketing qualification such as CIM desirable.
• Full current driving license.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
• Second language (particularly German) preferred but not essential.
• Fully conversant with Microsoft Office.


• Knowledge and experience of project managing large Corporate Event Programmes.
• Experience in co-ordinating and facilitating regular event forums with stakeholders to support event and project management.
• Ability to communicate and influence at all levels across the orgranisation.
• Previous experience of a similar role within the automotive sector advantageous but not essential.
• Hands on approach and excellent project management skills.
• Excellent command of the English language and good experience of communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing and good influencing skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a small team.
• Previous experience of working with agencies.
