The Role:
- Reporting to the VP of LNG Sales and Marketing, the role holder will be responsible for marketing strategy development and execution. As operator of the 7.6mtpa 2 train LNG facility, The Company lead the partnership’s marketing efforts to optimize existing flexible LNG supply to new markets in Asia. With a planned expansion for an additional 3.8 mtpa LNG train, new term sales commitments are now required to underpin the growing portfolio. The role holder will develop new sales opportunities in the region, and work with Tangguh Partners and the Government of Indonesia to mature opportunities to execution.

- The role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic LNG marketing/Upstream business, with multiple stakeholders, with strong emphasis on external engagement/influencing skills and commercial contract structuring and negotiation.

Key accountabilities
- Member of the LNG Marketing Leadership team
- Marketing strategy development and advocacy to stakeholders internal and external to company
- Directly accountable for marketing a portion of the un-contracted ~7 mtpa of LNG
- Negotiation of LNG sales Heads of Agreements (HoAs) and fully termed Sales & Purchase Agreements (SPAs)
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers, companyPartners and Government of Indonesia counterparts
- Development of Indonesian talent

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance/Economics or Engineering or equivalent discipline from reputable university

Essential experience and job requirements
- Minimum 15 years of Marketing/Commercial experience
- Ability to identify, evaluate and deliver new opportunities for a portfolio
- Proven track record in managing a team and experienced with coaching and mentoring for staff development
- Strong negotiation, leadership potential and communication skills with proven capability and ability to manage multiple/conflicting priorities
- Strong influencing skills and experienced in advocating opportunities to senior management
- Strong commitment and leadership in adhering to Ethics & Compliance & HSE regulations and policies
- Track record of networking opportunities with appropriate BP functions to support new deal development (legal, shipping, tax, GPO, treasury, IST, S&OR).

Other essential skills and knowledge
- Deep Understanding of LNG or gas contracts
- Knowledge of PSC structures
