The Company:
Our client is one of the main market leaders in the Oil and Gas industry in Perth. The are currently at the pre-FEED/FEED stage of the new and exciting project.

The Role:
Provide pragmatic input to the Concept Definition and achieve cost effective solutions.
Maintain close liaison with the project team to support and develop Operations activities during the project phases in line with the Operations Readiness Management Plan.
Identify changes to design and evaluate risks related to Operations.
Review and monitor potential changes and evaluate risks related to offshore Operations.
Establish and/or further develop project operations strategies, procedures and controls.
Ensure actions relevant to LNG processing are tracked, actioned and closed out.
Assure the application of Lessons Learned.
Monitor and review the Contractors deliverables on matters relating to Operations.
Respond to Operations related queries of the Contractor.
Continuously challenge and improve the operations strategy by providing front end input into the ITT preparation, contract evaluation, detailed design and construction activities to ensure the interest of the (owner) operations are adequately addressed.
Prepare relevant sections of the Operations Readiness Plan for FEED and EPCI phase.
Participate in developing competence profiles and the competency assurance plan.
Contribute to the development of the training plan for the future operations organization.

Participate and contribute to;
• Review of Safeguarding Memoranda and process control narratives.
• HSE and HFE sessions during Concept Definition/FEED/EPCI phase ensuring operations interest and concerns are adequately addressed.
• Right First Time Project Delivery program
• Commissioning & Start Up during Concept Definition/FEED/EPCI phases
• Development of the project SIMOPS, adverse weather policy and emergency response/evacuation plan in the FEED phase.
• HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, SIL and Desktop Safety Reviews.
• Operability and maintainability workshops.
• 3-D model reviews.
• Operational functional requirements for the project and the setting up of the infrastructure for operations management systems, communications, logistics and other operations support activities.

Lead the ‘Start Up on Paper’ (introduction of hydrocarbons) and development of the Start Up procedures and at Start Up assure the approved Start Up procedures and fully implemented (Execute phase)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
Ideal candidate will have:
• 10+ years’ experience in offshore operations and maintenance for offshore gas production facilities, including experience in Australia; FPSO operations experience essential; LNG liquefaction O&M experience; with 10+ years field operational experience
• Proven track record in the development of major greenfield projects, during early projects stages through to offshore hook-up, commissioning and start-up with major engineering and construction interfaces.
• Shutdown/Turnaround and re start experience in gas treatment process equipment.
• Applicants should be able to demonstrate a real commitment to safety, delivery and quality
• Good understanding of economic impact of project development decisions
• Strong leadership skills, proven as a communicator at all levels, accomplished at stakeholder management, internal and external
