The Company:
Our client is a global group of energy and petrochemicals companies with assets spanning over 50 countries and territories, supported by a workforce nearing exceeding 80,000.

The Role:
Fircroft has been engaged to support staffing requirements for a team of up to 15 LNG Production Technicians, reporting to the Senior Production Coordinator for an offshore gas development in Western Australia. These positions will be responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of LNG plant and facilities from startup to shutdown. Given the hazardous environment, a strong safety emphasis is required from all project staff to ensure an injury-free workplace. Candidates sought for these positions will have a proven background in a combination of the following plant plant/facilities in a major LNG project:
- Powerstations
- Gas plant
- Storage and loading facilities
- Nitrogen generation plants
- Condensate processing plant
- CO2 Injection facilities

The role of Production Technician will contribute to the development of systems and processes for subsequent phases of work for the LNG facility, including pre/commissioning operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate/s will have a strong understanding of gas production, gathering and processing, applying their knowledge to adhere to daily control and engineering tasks, including operation of DCS panel. This will be a 28/28 rotation.

Applicants must have current work rights in Australian as well as proven major LNG project experience.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Process plant operations / trade certificate
- Ability to FIFO from an Australian Capital city
- Knowledge of Permit To Work processes in a gas environment
- Efficient working knowledge of CMMS systems
- Experience with DCS panel operation
- Mechanical/instrumentation operations and maintenance familiarity
- Ability to integrate with, oversee and mentor other team members
- Reporting methodology to Senior staff
- Strong safety emphasis
