The Role:
Job Responsibilities

•Ensure that the appropriate use of Sattahip base facilities are made to support Production, Drilling and Facility Engineering customers needs relative to cargo shipments and boat passengers are met
•Supervise the jetty staff to provide an incident free operations and fully compliance to Chevron Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Tenet of Operation Excellent and Safe Work Practices, included with Recognition and Award, Disciplinary Actions, Job Skill Training and Team work to ensure a high performance committed team. Attend Job Safety analysis and Tool box meeting with jetty team prior to start their job daily. Always closely monitor when load/off load tubular bundles to/from the vessel.
•Daily coordinate with Marine Control in decision making on vessel utilization and schedule priorities to provide support to offshore customers needs for the timely, safe and efficient.
•Ensure that all equipment and operators under his purview e.g. crane, forklift truck, etc. are certified and fully compliant with license and Chevron’s requirement to operate their respective pieces of plant.
•Audit and monitor performance of contractors furnished services on regular basis to ensure that Chevron minimum safe operating standard are met and maintained.
Work with warehouse material coordinators to generate vessel cargo load list daily. Coordinate with vessel’s captain to develop cargo load plan prior to start cargo loading on the vessel.
•Cooperate with Shorebase HESS to conduct annual CHESM audit and Service Quality meeting with every Sattahip Shorebase main contractors. Provide input to the annual contractors performance review program.
•Lead to conduct facility inspection and maintenance in all Shorebase jetty areas to ensure safe and hygiene within very good conditions, complaint to all applicable laws and industry standard.
•In conjunction with Logistics Superintendent and Sattahip Shorebase Superintendent schedule and plans for the safe and orderly evacuation of personnel during emergency response situation.
•Ensure that all lifting equipment and associated Cargo Container Units have been inspected to comply with Chevron Thailand Portable Lifting Equipment Operating Practices.
•Manage and arrange all land transportation for all material movement to/from Sattahip Shorebase. Coordinate with local supplier to arrange their transportation to pick up their own backload cargo at jetty. Coordinate with waste management service contractor to collect all waste from shore base daily to minimize waste remain or accumulate at shore base.
•Arrange to hire outside crane to support project vessel when necessary.
•Manage tracking CCU movement and follow up for return from offshore to Sattahip.
•Set up inspection program and cleaning program of Chevron Jet A-1 tanks.
•Communicate with vessels while movement in the port.
•Be person in charge of Sattahip Shorebase during weekend duty or Holiday duty

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications (Education, Work Experience, English and Computer Skills)

•Bachelor degree with at least 5 years experience related to vessel cargo loading.
•Basic rigging certificates
•Basic Computer skill e.g. MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Power Point, etc.
•Capable to communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak and listen) related to vessel cargo loading.
•Basic knowledge in material being used in Oil and Gas industry.
•Good teamwork (both of member and leader)
•Capable to work under pressure e.g. time limit, short notice, etc.
•Capable to work overtime. Available for on call (24/7)
