The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
•Provide data analysis to quantify packaging assumptions/investment to support Business/Project submissions.
•Manage packaging service providers to enable delivery of packaging designs.
•Support management activities through development and monitoring of key activities and timing plans working closely with IPM, Trading Division, Packaging Manufacturers, Component Suppliers and Customer Plants.
•Co-ordinate packaging concept buy-off and liaise with the related MP&L, Manufacturing, Purchasing, H&S and Quality areas as appropriate.
•Resolve packaging issues provide containment and long term solutions
•Manage the input of data into Packaging Databases, producing metrics as required Develop standards documents and processes for overseas shipping mediums.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills Required:
•Be able to work independently
•Manage priorities, identify issues and solutions using own initiative, coupled with a desire to make a difference and tenacity to achieve results
•Able to analyse large Excel data sets and provide detailed reports on packaging design status
•Able to manage and drive various packaging projects and studies
•Able to quickly learn, connect with other teams/suppliers and build working relationships
•Have experience of overseas shipping methodology
•Understand the supply chain for packaging
•Be a strong team player who is prepared to bring a flexible approach to the role, and capable of leading/developing a winning team
*Automotive packaging experience, automotive logistics experience.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Be Computer literate and proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, SAP and CMMS.
•Candidate must be able to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
•Candidate must hold a full driving license and be willing to travel between sites regularly.Project Management
* Degree, Engineering degree preferred
