The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
This role is 28x28 rotation, Flights, accommodation and per deim provided.

The Logistic’s & Material’s HSE Advisor provides daily HSE advice, guidance and support to the Logistic’s Manager and leadership team. A key part of this to supervise, coach and train Angolan national HSE personnel in pursuit of Client’s Nationalization Agenda.

The Logistic’s HSE Advisor provides specialist advice and support for incident investigations, development of policies and procedures, and supports a variety of audit and inspection tasks.

The Logistic’s HSE Advisor provides specialist advice, support and training to the base medical response team and provide medical care to sick or injured workers if the need arises.

•Ensure Client HSE Standards and Requirements are met by logistics’ team’s contractors.
•Develop and implement the asset HSE plan.
•Provide HSE input to the decision-making and change management processes.
•Develop procedures and documents in-line with Client Group HSSE Standards
•Conduct audits and reviews to ensure Client HSE requirements are being met, develop remedial action plans as required and ensure implementation.
•Represent Client with external stakeholders as required
•Attend internal Client meetings to monitor decision making and assess any impact on HSE considerations or the achievement of Company HSE standards and requirements.
•Participate in risk management and risk assessment activities, events & workshops. ( HAZOP, HAZID, PHSSER )
•Ensuring deficiencies are identified and tracked and periodic status reports are published until deficiencies/ issues are resolved.
•Serves as the primary liaison between HSE staff and department heads supporting operations.
•Provide counsel to management on Policy requirements, sensitive HSE issues and conflict resolution.
•Provide leadership in ensuring that all HSE policies and programs are aligned with guidelines, industry standards and local laws and regulations.
•Formulating and coordinating the implementation strategies for all HSE related policies and programs.
•Using department specific trends and statistics to evaluate HSE performance, with a focus on use of leading indicators to proactively address performance gaps.
•Serve as logistics’ base medical team leader providing emergency care to sick or injured workers and training of medical response team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential criteria & qualifications

•Advanced qualification in industrial safety preferred.
•Documented experience in the development and delivery of HSE Management Systems
•Documented experience in a leadership, supervisory, or coaching position
•Documented experience in risk management of Industrial Hygiene hazards
•Good English language skills required, including reading, writing and speaking
•Demonstrated competence in speaking in front of groups, including leading meetings
•Current certification or licensure as a Paramedic by an accredited association with a minimum of a certain number of years experience in the oil & gas exploration industry.
•Current certification Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Prehospital Trauma Life Support.
