The Company:
Our client is one of the world's largest integrated energy companies conducting business in countries all around the globe. They are engaged in every aspect of the crude oil & natural gas industry, including exploration & production, manufacturing, marketing & transportation, chemicals manufacturing & sales, geothermal, power generation, renewables & advanced technologies.

The Role:
The principal roles of this post are to enhance seamless administrative, logistic and security coordination to the project in order to ensure optimal support (front to rear) linking forward field operations to the rear support.

• The post will not be secretarial, but will focus on back-office activity such as HR, contract management, equipment provision; personnel movement; policy implementation etc
• Support Logistics (forward) and assist Logistics lead in all day to day logistics function
• Wider administrative function to include:
- Visas, passport control, blood tests management and coordination
- Maintain an accurate list of all staff in country (People on Board) cross project
- Ensure alignment with travel desk in Dubai and manage staff travel in and out of Iraq (including Baghdad visits)
- Assist in management and staff movements / accommodation between various locations and camps
• Procurement for local office needs
• Deal with local vendors
• Deal with all customs and importation/exportation issues
• Liaison with Security Providers Ops staff to collate and coordinate security movements
• To manage all personnel issues relating to security staff and contractor movement into and out of Iraq
• To manage the deployment of all PSDs ensuring no gaps or omissions, thereby enabling unconstrained operations by the businesses
• Security and logistics induction briefings for New arrivals
• Work with field based Security Manager on all aspects of administration and coordination and manage change
• To manage all logistic requirements for all deployed rear staff
• To ensure that all logistic and administrative support to forward operations is achieved in a seamless and proficient manner
• To ensure good communications rear to front, and to remain cognizant of the wider operational aim
• To attain full transparency of all logistics and personnel related issues

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• A high calibre professional with extensive years relevant logistics/administrative experience at mid-management level
• Must have recent personnel and logistics experience, preferably in Iraq
• Must have excellent communication skills – both written and oral. Must be capable of working, liaising and conducting briefings or presentations
• A motivated individual with high levels of energy, excellent team working skills, a "can do" attitude,
• Is able to operate effectively within a multicultural setting
• Is able to operate effectively within an asymmetrical, multicultural setting, under pressure and able to meet demanding timelines
• Is a volunteer to deploy to, and operate in Dubai and Iraq
