The Role:
Purpose:
To deliver Logistics and Infrastructure (L&I) new business development, Project Execution and Operations Readiness services and activities to Global Project teams across the complete project lifecycle according to agreed schedules and in line with Global standards and best practices.

To contribute to development and maintenance of L&I and Operations Readiness L&I standards, practices and tools within the Global Centre of Excellence, and participate in a variety of reviews, peer assists and assurance activities across global projects.

Accountabilities:
Deliver Logistics and Infrastructure (L&I) Project Execution and Operations Readiness related advice and activities within a delivery program or service delivery from beginning to end; including customer and stakeholder management, scope definition, program development, planning, organisation, resources, execution, assurance, close out and capturing of lessons learned, as a subject matter expert.
Deliver L&I related activities as part of a Project / Programme delivery
Contribute to technology development adding value to the business.
Customer engagement at project level, advising and coaching project, operations, engineering and technical managers on L&I matters.
Gives L&I expert advice to customers; Advises at departmental level.
Subject Matter Expert in own skill area and fulfill a Logistics TA-2 role to verify that the OE and OR processes and related Minimum Standards & Global Processes are applied

The magnitude and diversity of L&I Consultants portfolio will be dependent on: the size, nature / complexity (e.g. onshore / deepwater / subsea; green / brown field / H2S /CO2 etc.) and phases of the project(s) and the specialist skills of the incumbent.

Experience and Qualifications required :
A logistics generalist rather than a specialist, with a high level of interpersonal skills, ability to think strategically, manage multiple interfaces and focus on external aspects.

Qualifications : Logistics / engineering degree or equivalent

Experience : Minimum 10 years experience in Logistics operations, Project execution, CP management, HSE and /or supply base management.
Overall experience with a wide range of Upstream project lifecycle (philosophy and strategy development, Infrastructure design, FEED, detailed design, C&P, air, marine, land transport, waste operations etc) is preferred.
Exposure to both onshore and offshore operations and / or project experience is an advantage, as is experience in working in remote field locations
