The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Logistics and Marine Coordinator main responsibilities are stated below;

• Promote improvement initiatives with regards to the safety of logistics units and operations within the parameters of the Company H.S.E. policy.
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures. Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
• Maintain awareness of and ensure conformity with all relevant statutory and Company directives and rules.
• Ensure conformity with the applicable local regulations, laws and guidelines.
• Analysis of safety results & incidents reports.
• Attend Weekly / Monthly meetings and SQM sessions with EPC Contractors and logistics/marine contractors as an adviser on technical & safety issues.
• Issue safety alert bulletins regarding major issues relating to logistics / marine non-compliance and incidents.
• Actively participate in HSE meetings and HAZID’s to ensure workable and appropriate solutions are implemented.
• Participate in strategy development related to logistics and marine and monitor the overall operations in Darwin Harbor.
• Support Logistics / Marine planning activities in consultation with the Logistics / Marine Coordinator in Perth, Offshore/Onshore/Operations teams, EPC’s and Darwin Port Corporation.
• Oversee logistics / marine activities in Darwin Area as required during execution phase.
• Liaise with the Darwin Port Corporation and appropriate marine technical authorities regarding matters that relate to Company marine operations.
• Liaise with Contractor, to ensure that the contractor logistics / marine operations conform with the project directives especially in terms of safety, environment, schedule, and quality.

Team Work
• Actively foster a working team approach within the Project team and interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.

• The job holder is responsible for the application of the Company logistics / marine standard to ensure safe and efficient operations to the project.
• To ensure conformity with all Company and legislative safety directives and rules relative to Company logistics / marine activities and to provide advice on matters and policy.
• Report to GM Logistics and Marine Coordinator in Perth any major threat identified or issues to be addressed regarding marine safety.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to fill the role you must have the following experience;

Technical Expertise
• Possess a strong understanding of Company management systems so as to propose / establish logistics and marine procedures and work instructions when and as required
• Deliver technical and operational support to the Project with regards to marine, logistics e.g. marine procedures, port regulations, general marine instructions, logistics bases, etc…
• Assist with audits / inspections of contractors / vessels / facilities and follow up on technical and operations audit action plan items for completion.
• Monitor the technical status of operations conformity with the Company Management System and industry best practices.
• Audit the application of technical specifications defined in the contract.
• Monitor the progress of corrective action plans issued by Contractors and Company.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Project Management
• Schedule, plan, prepare, manage and supervise various inshore / offshore logistics / marine operations, and provide Company representation for specialist vessel / logistics operations, cyclone mooring installation and maintenance liaising with management and client departments as appropriate.
• Provide specialist support to Projects, Marine, Logistics, and other clients as required, ensuring client satisfaction. This includes monitoring of “third party” operations where Company assets are constructed. (RLF, MSB, Offshore logistics base,…)
• Update Company Standards, procedures, work instruction documents during execution phase.
• Provide monthly/weekly safety and activity reporting.
