The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
For our client we are looking for a Logistics Contracts Advisor who will be responsible for the day to day contract administration of Logistics Services contracts and shore base leases. In this position your key responsibilities include:

• Ensure Contract value/variations are within the approved Not to Exceed (NTE) value.
• Ensure accurate and current data uploaded into the Contracts Management System (CMS) to maintain quality and integrity of CMS data.
• Review and approve Recommendation for Change (RFC) and Change Order (CO) documents.
• Ensure insurance coverage and financial instruments are in accordance with Contract requirements.
• Ensure correspondence is properly managed.
• Perform commercial evaluations.
• Review and approve Progress Payment certification (PPC) in accordance with the PPA.
• Ensure all payment verification documents are uploaded in CMS.
• Closeout of contracts in accordance with Project procedures.

You will also be involved in participating and contributing to claims avoidance strategies. Other claims management duties include:
• Provide assistance, when required, to projects legal with respect to claims support.
• Provide support to site based team in relation to commercial and contractual policies and procedures.
• Ensure that claims management procedures are being adhered to and adopted to meet business objectives.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this opportunity you will have thorough knowledge of contracting best practices, applicable West Australian Law and experience in managing contract change request. You are proficient in Microsoft suite of office products. Other key skills include:
• Ability to gain rapid familiarity with commercial policies and procedures and help define project specific procedure.
• Excellent communicator and a team player in order to facilitate between different business functions in varying locations
• Ready to adopt a flexible work approach.
• Communication skills; good command of verbal and written English, sufficient to communicate effectively with the project team and contractors under pressure of time.
