The Role:
Mission
• The post holder will assist in the development and be responsible for implementing the strategy in relation to Logistics policies. In addition the incumbent will ensure the overall provision of a proactive Logistics Service for the Construction and Operational phase. The incumbent also has a key role in ensuring that close relationships are developed with internal customers, which are based on mutual understanding, trust and respect and that the overall profile of Logistics is enhanced within the Company.

Activities
• Manage, coordinate and control, in conjunction with the Site Representative, the Project office at Sella Ness including Security, Internal & External Building maintenance, Telecoms & IT, Travel, transport and Accommodation, housekeeping and office supplies
• Assist as required with the development of the new civil engineering infrastructure
• Actively contribute to identifying, developing and implementing logistics initiatives, activities and procedures in conjunction with Site Representative and Logistics Coordinator.
• Provide logistical support and assistance in Shetland and elsewhere as required, to all theProject Packages during the Construction, Commissioning and Operational phases, liaising with third parties as appropriate
• Prepare and maintain a comprehensive high level record of Project material and equipment arriving in Shetland
• Action and control movements of materials and equipment to and from the site, including reception/dispatch of material and mail to/from Aberdeen.
• Arrange and coordinate all flights and airport transfers for UK site personnel travelling to and from SGP
• Manage work rotations for all site personnel based at SGP
• Arrange and confirm accommodation requirements in Shetland for site personnel and liaise with Landlords/Aberdeen office/LT Human Resources
• Manage maintenance schedule for all UK vehicles
• Oversee all domestic services supplied to UK out with the responsibility of the main Contractor (Sella Ness Office)
• Maintain store of required PPE for all UK personnel and visitors
• Provide input to UK Site Representative’s Daily Report
• Attend Site Representative’s Daily Meetings
• Initiates and administers goods receipting and dispatching process
• Operate SAP system to ensure good control of material movements
• Control and ensure compliance with HM Customs, Waste Management and Dangerous Goods Regulations
• Compliance with legislation and Company procedures

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• The post holder should be educated to HND level or similar and/or demonstrate ability through relevant experience and proven achievements in the field of Logistics and Aviation.
• Must be able to work on their own initiative and proactively interact with teams to obtain information.
• Must be able to react quickly and decisively to constantly changing demands and circumstances, minimising the Company’s exposure to both final and financial penalties.
• Must have a significant knowledge of the oil and gas industry, preferably gained working for an Operator.
• Full UK driver’s licence held.
