The Company:
Our client, a major international engineering & construction company, seeks expertise for projects in Atlantic Canada.

This opportunity is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only. First consideration will be given to residents of Newfoundland & Labrador.

The Role:
Leads logistics and traffic team to ensure compliance with the approved procedures per the Clients' ISO procedures

- Develop budgets and staffing requirements
- Work closely with engineering to ensure shipping parameters are met
- Assist, in consultation with Buyers, Vendors, the Quality Surveillance Inspector and Construction, with the disposition of damaged freight arriving at site
- Coordinate all LTL shipments and FTL shipments
- Input/definition to third party contracts packages
- Coordinate route studies

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Logistics and Traffic
- 10 years in the oil and gas industry
- Experience in planning logistics for construction, installation, integration, DWS and Offshore Hook up and Commissioning (HUC)
- Prior multi location destinations on a large scale project
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
