Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
• Delivering the supply chain strategy for Low Voltage Products to achieve a best in class customer service

Mission Statement: Provide expertise to the organization by compiling and analysing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups and recommending actions to improve financial performance.

Main Accountabilities:

1. Business Analysis: Performs analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast and proposes improvement actions. Performs benchmarking of key performance indicators. Works with LBU Management and Logistics team to understand and analyse the drivers of inventory performance and identify trends. Prepares modelling for various “what if” scenarios and the overall impact to the business unit and develops strategies to mitigate identified issues.

2. Inventory Management: Plan and adjust stock in conjunction with LBU managers according to history and sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis to achieve delivery and financial performance. Supports preparation of relevant organization inventory reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting. Validates accuracy of inventory data and business information and reports by taking an active lead in the LBU Stock Council and striving to increase customer requested on time delivery.

3. Information and communication: Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses and recommendations.

4. Optimization: Optimizes own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements through building long term relationships with suppliers.

5. Internal control and documentation: Ensures processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with unit requirements. Maintains proper audit trail and documentation.
