Logistics Officer

The Role:
• Daily coordination with our planning department
• Follow up with all concerned parties i.e. planning and warehouse that all products are ready to meet scheduled delivery time
• Monitoring inbound and outbound shipments
• Coordination with freight forwarders and logistics control tower for shipment booking and monitoring
• Invoicing & provide shipping documents to the customer
• Following up shipments and ensure receipt at the customers
• Liaise with customs brokers for timely and accurate execution of shipping instructions
• Ensure compliance with customs regulation for all import shipments
• Maintain proper filing of shipping documents and receipts needed for invoicing
• Co-ordinate with overseas suppliers/customers within the scope of shipments inward-outward movements
• Follow up and updating external shipment schedule in order to prepare shipping document for customs clearance in time
• Maintain and update files on carriers rates and quotations
• Check and verify forwarder’s billings invoices according to agreed rates
• Take charge in reporting and problem solving with unforeseen-unaccountable situation that may cause delay schedule of shipment.
• Arranging reports under customers requirement and for internal KPI reports monthly/quarterly
• Participate in WCM activities

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Thai national
• At least 2 years working experience in shipping or logistics officer
• Experience in SAP is an advantage
• Good English skills, oral and written
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and posses strong initiative and problem solving skills
