The Role:
Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Assists the department in coordinating with huge supplier-base by providing assistance to buyers; Ensures proper coordination of purchasing process involving assisting in goods purchases and returns, documentation-handling both shipping and receiving, and continuous communication with supplier to guarantee timely delivery.
· Accurate implementation of Procurement Procedures and on-time submission of accurate reports to the Finance Department.
· Maximization of all sources and resources to ensure 100% availability of the requested materials. Produce an immediate alternative in case of non-availability of requested specifications.
· Minimum deviation on Consumables, Spare parts and Chemicals during stock take activities. Develop logistical plans for current operations and logistics contingency plans.
· Ensure all supervised staff members are trained as well as cross-trained adequately.
· Develop reports on material and personnel movements and various operational logistics problems. · Review customs at the port and airport in the presence of any problem and try to solve.
· Follow-up customs clearance companies every day to see the work that has been completed for shipments to avoid any delay in exit materials.
· Continuous familiarization with the Oracle system in all Materials Management levels.
· Constant survey of the market for new suppliers and vendors and update data base.
· Develop a file of latest catalogues and pamphlets of materials and supplies.
· Fully recorded (documented) communication with all operating units.
· On-time communication (no delay; no pending) with all internal and external channels.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
· High School or Technical/Vocational School graduate
· Basic knowledge of warehouse management (systems, processes and procedures)
· Computer literate

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
· At least 2 years of related work experience
· Experience in IPP a must; experience in a power plant or industrial environment preferred. Experience in ERP (Oracle, OCEN, SAP, Maximo, etc.)
· Good communication, planning and organizing, and customer service orientation skills
