The Role:
The Role:
The Logistics Operations Analyst will be a key member of the analytics team supporting data analysis, studying business processes, and solving operational problems. The role will work closely with stakeholders to interrogate, interpret and communicate analysis of logistics data in support of optimisation activities. The position requires strong analytical aptitude, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a positive professional attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.

Accountable for:
This position reports to the Lead Operations Analyst. The Logistics Operations Analyst will act as analytical support for the wider logistics function, ensuring:
Data is centralised within the Garner system and 'one version of the truth' is maintained at all times
Communications procedure is followed; and a focus on data discipline and integrity is maintained

Assisting in communication and reporting to Senior Logistics Management in relation to logistics operations
Monitor daily reporting into the Garner system to ensure integrity of systems; highlighting discrepancies to Logistics Management Operation of the Garner database, including:
Interrogation of the Garner database in response to discrete requests for information
Analysis and interpretation of KPIs, in consultation with Operations
Provide input to daily, weekly and monthly logistics data and provide detailed reports as required
Utilisation of the data in conjunction with Garner and System Navigator models to provide sensitivity analysis, testing the capability and variability of the supply chain to deliver project M&E on time
Provide resource forecasts
Identify optimisation opportunities
Provide support to the lead operations analyst, conducting analysis of efficiency initiatives as required
Conduct analysis for a wide range of requests using data in different formats and from various platforms
Conduct briefs to communicate logistics analysis as required
Maintain the discipline of the logistics communication procedure within the Logistics Analyst team ensuring:
Data integrity
Timely reporting
Controlled release of information
Interface with the Garner and System Navigator team as required
Verify collected data is within required quality standards
Researches business problems and assists in the development of solutions
All other duties assigned as needed by the Lead Operations Analyst and the wider Logistics team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The Person:
Demonstrate a strong analytical approach to problem solving
Demonstrate an ability to explain complex problems in a succinct and concise manner
Demonstrate an ability to develop and influence stakeholder networks
Interpret data, analysing results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Experience managing and interrogating large datasets
Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and organisational skills
Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
Dynamic and enthusiastic individual with the ability to learn and adapt to change; desire to work successfully in a fastpaced project environment
Well rounded in terms of operational logistics experience
Able to undertake short term international deployments
Able to work in a team environment
Able to deliver tasks to meet senior management requirements
Able to work to strict deadlines and provide detailed reports
