The Company:
Major operator is seeking a Logistics Performance Analyst for a 12 month + opportunity based in West Houston.

The Role:
Responsibilities:
• The Performance Analyst will analyze, develop, and provide performance analysis of Logistics-related commercial, financial, and internal controls to ensure they are adequate, cost effective, and timely, utilizing a continuous improvement approach.
• Facilitate discussions with management to understand relevant performance metrics
• Prepare, evaluate, and present performance trends and anomalies
• Develop the annual budget for the department and its allocated cost centers
• Prepare, evaluate, and present the Logistics’ Scorecard
• Provide overall support for the Performance Management team
• Foster effective teamwork across the team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Minimum 6 years of experience
• A sound understanding of Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Industry
• Strong analytical, numerical, financial, and economic analysis skills (EEM level II).
• Ability to quickly analyze large volumes of data, recognize trends, develop solutions to business issues, and recommend preferred alternatives
• Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects, at times with conflicting priorities
• Ability to effectively interface, influence, and build alignment with
individuals, multi-discipline teams, and all levels of Region
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Effective people skills; ability to develop and use informal network
