Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
Logistics Programme Manager. Lead the Castle Bromwich Logistics Programme Management team. Represent MP&L at Senior Programme and Plant meetings. Liaise with Purchasing to ensure Logistics costs and requirements are fully included in all sourcing decisions. Develop capital and variable cost budgets. Ensure logistics activities adhere to Quality Operating Systems (in conjunction with MP&L area / Lead Logistics Partners). Lead the Castle Bromwich new model packaging team to ensure optimisation of pallet investment, freight cost expenditure, inventory holding and marketplace space
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
1)Proven experience in creating and managing high performing teams
2)Project management including delivering objectives and creating and maintaining significant financial budgets
3)Extensive knowledge of logistics and supply chain planning
Experience Required: Proven experience in logistics planning and supply chain management. Knowledge of automotive manufacturing and project management. Able to engage cross functionally with Purchasing, Product Development and Manufacturing. Able to manage teams and create a high performance environment.
