The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. Our Client has operations in over 130 countries and has more than 95,000 employees worldwide.

The Role:
•Prepare and organize the move of the warehouse from the old one to the new one.
•The incumbent will be responsible for carrying out the requirements for the setting up of RFID / Asset tracking technology for the new warehouse, in link with the HQ, and the developer of the new warehouse. He/she will be the focal point for the HQ on this subject.
•Responsible for following the deployment of RLM. He/she will be the point of contact of IS and HQ on this subject.
•Provide an expertise in road transport management in order to assist the company in setting a new Land Transportation Management System.
•Follow the ISSOW setting up.
•Assist as required with Tender Bid replies and evaluation of the Contracts needed for those projects prior to award;
•Develop, implement and maintain the associated Logistics and Marine procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with Internal Policies and Procedures, Company Safety Management System, Group Policies and Legislation.
•Ensure that contractor selection is carried out in accordance with Company requirements and that safety and environmental assessments are part of the selection process.
•Provide regular reports and updates to the management, highlighting key actions, progress against schedule and areas of concern.
•Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety.
•Maintain the integrity of SAP in Logistics and Marine and adhere to the values and principles of the Company Code of Conduct at all times.
•Willingly and openly share good practice.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•The post holder should be educated to Degree level or similar and/or demonstrate ability through relevant experience and proven achievements in the field of Logistics.
•Should have already organised a warehouse move and or the setting up of an asset tracking / RFID project.
•Must have managed land transport.
•Must be able to work on their own initiative and proactively interact with teams to obtain information.
•Must be able to react quickly and decisively to constantly changing demands and circumstances, minimising the Company’s exposure to both final and financial penalties.
•Must have significant knowledge of the logistics industry.
