The Role:
We are looking for a Logistics Projects Advisor for a position based in Onne (Nigeria).
The service holder will drive the implementation of LEAD (Logistics Efficiency And Delivery) project in Nigeria.
He/She will advise and assist key staff in Lagos and Geneva during logistical restructuring within APDNL and the design, construction and operation of a new multi-modal supply base in Onne.

The key accountabilities are below:
- Drive LEAD project implementation in Nigeria to meet project schedule.
- Assist in the design of a new supply base being constructed at Onne.
- Developing the organogram supporting the new supply base.
- Assisting with the recruitment of new staff and the assessment of training requirements for current Addax logistical staff.
- Liaising with the contractors responsible for the construction of the base at Onne.
- Assisting with any remaining activities for the close down and decommissioning of Calabar base.
- Developing and implementing plans for the movement of inventory and project equipment from Calabar to Onne.
- Overseeing the designation of scrap/obsolete/junk materials, their cataloguing, isolation and mapping prior to NAPIMs action.
- Developing OCTG storage process and plans at the new supply base with the assistance of the drilling department.
- Mapping and documenting the new warehouse, the dedicated jetty and the logistical process at the new supply base.
- Mapping warehouse systems and work process at the new supply base.
- Developing and implementing cross-OPCO material codification and management plans.
- Assisting in the development of Proactis as a cross- OPCO inventory.
- Developing and implementing operational KPIs linked to financial and operational efficiencies.
- Developing and implementing vessel management process and deck management procedures within Integrated Operations.
- Developing efficient process for the recovery of drilling fluids and waste.
- Developing waste disposal capabilities at Onne.
- Driving the integration of logistics into the annual procurement plans and drilling schedules.
- Driving further integration of logistics and operational departments.
- Understanding and suggesting mitigating strategies for actions and their implications on other departments or operations.
- Developing stakeholder matrix and advising management on the implications of change.

This is a rotational position with 6 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Logistics / supply chain diploma management

Must have West African Oil and Gas experience at a managerial level, with hands-on experience of logistics project management onshore and offshore.
Preferably worked in remote site O&G operations for ≥ 5 years (Construction, drilling, pipe laying)
Previous experience in operating and succeeding in challenging overseas environments (African continent).
High level understanding of change management.
Worked (≥ 5 years) with a Major Oil and Gas Cy (BP, Chevron, Exxon, Gazprom, PetroChina, Saipem, Shell, Statoil, Total)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- An understanding of complex inter-department project management at strategic and operational levels.
- Ability to use MS Office suite of software on a independent basis.
- Understanding of Integrated Operations.
- Knowledge of processes, and ability to develop process maps and procedures and KPI’s.
- Basic Knowledge of project planning
