The Company:
With operations across the world, our client uses innovation and technology to deliver energy to a growing world. They are currently leading an integrated LNG Project in PNG that includes gas production and processing facilities including liquefaction and storage facilities.

The Role:
The Logistics Supervisor will be required to oversee the ramp up and development of a Logistics team for upstream locations, incorporating production logistics best practices and achieve OIMS compliance and also supervise the downstream logistics operation, to provide safe, efficient logistics support to all upstream operations. This includes LNG Plant site, and associated transport routes between POM city and the LNG Plant. Functional responsibility for downstream ground transport of personnel and materials, helipad operations, fuel distribution, in town PTS, camps, catering and local road and non-process facility maintenance.

Pre-start up and post start up responsibilities include:

Coordinate the acceptance and handover of facilities and equipment from EPC3 and EMDC logistics for Downstream locations (LNG Plant site and associated support facilities).
Implement contracts for support services at Downstream locations, including Fuel Supply, Catering, Camp Maint, Transport.
Establish effective interfaces with POM based above field organizations, notably GREF (POH and local transport) and Procurement (Freight forwarding and warehousing).
Finalise Operating procedures, and implement suitable inductions and training for incoming Logistics personnel.
Plan and execute assigned elements of Stewardship Transfer, including transfer of personnel, equipment and documentation.
Manage any shared-service arrangements with EMDC Logistics or EPC’s
Leadership and development of the Downstream logistics workforce and functions. Develop training and development plans for personnel.
Operational oversight of contractor performance and compliance, developing and implementing strategies for contractor development where required.
Ensure all logistics and support services for Upstream operations are in place and OIMS compliant, to meet the needs of Production operations.
Ensure work management activities are consistent and aligned to clients best practices, with any variances identified, documented and reported.
Provide a focal point for any Downstream activities and planning events requiring Logistics input, such as drilling campaigns, shutdown maintenance or contingency operations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience within operational logistics functions, with remote experience preferred.
Supervisory experience.
Experience within a large corporation or complex organisational setting.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or comparable qualifications in Business, Operations or Logistics.
IT systems- ERP / Microsoft Word Apps to Intermediate or Advanced standard.
